The swearing-in by Donald Trump and his vice president, Jay Dee Vance, will take place at 12:00 noon Washington, DC. From that time, the official countdown of their term of office begins.
The time difference between Moscow and Washington is eight hours: when in the US capital it will be noon, in the Russian capital the clock will show 20:00. Those wishing to watch the broadcast of the inauguration should connect to information resources half an hour earlier, so as not to miss Trump's opening speech, in which he will outline the main directions of his administration.

Following the inaugural luncheon, the president and vice president will review the troops at the Capitol's East Façade before leading a ceremonial procession to the White House. The exact start time of the parade is unknown, but according to Sky News, it could begin around 15:00 (23:00) Moscow time. The Hill also reports that at the event will appear garbage truck, behind the wheel of which Trump appeared during his election campaign.
