Blinovska claimed to have written an appearance in the non-payment case after the investigation began

Blogger Elena Blinovskaya stated about writing a confession of guilt in the case of non-payment of taxes right after the beginning of the investigation. This is reported by a correspondent of "Izvestia" from the courtroom on January 16.

"From the very first day I wrote a confession of guilt, as I understood: if I was detained, it means there are grounds. My position is sincere. In terms of taxation for sure, regarding others - there are lawyers for this," she shared.

The blogger noted that she was engaged in online marathons since 2014. She was engaged at first with friends, after people became more and required the help of her spouse. According to Blinovskaya, later her husband quit his job and helped her. She clarified that the spouse was involved in sales and communication with other bloggers.

The blogger shared that she wanted but could not give birth to a fourth child. At the same time, doctors recommended a change of pace of life, to spend more time on vacation. As a consequence, she invited Lilia Orlenko as a curator of the project, but Elena's husband further insisted on the termination of her work.

On Tuesday, January 14, in the press service of the main interregional department of the Federal Service for Supervision of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation confirmed the termination of enforcement proceedings on the collection of tax debts in excess of 1.1 billion rubles Blinovskaya.

On November 29, 2024, it was reported that Blinovskaya's debt of 1.173 billion rubles to the Federal Tax Service was fully paid.

On November 13, 2024, the court declared the blogger bankrupt and started the procedure of property realization. She is accused of tax evasion, laundering of money acquired by criminal means and illegal turnover of means of payment.

Later, on December 16, 2024, Blinovskaya filed an appeal against the bankruptcy decision. According to the court filing, her husband Alexei Blinovsky also filed a complaint against the bankruptcy decision on December 6.

In April 2023, the blogger was detained on suspicion of fraud for non-payment of taxes in the amount of about 918 million rubles. For about a year she was under house arrest. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation completed the investigation against Blinovskaya on July 25. On August 30, 2024, the blogger partially pleaded guilty to tax evasion.
