Nine car brands raised car prices in early January
From January 1 to January 15, 2025, prices for new cars have increased in nine brands officially presented in the Russian market. This was reported by the analytical agency "Autostat" on January 16.
Haval brand has increased the price of most models: Jolion, H3, M6, F7 and H5. Prices have increased by Br100-200 thousand (+3.1-5.4%), depending on the model and modification. Tank has raised prices for the entire model range by Br200-500 thousand (+3-5.6%). All cars of Sollers brand have also gone up in price (by Br120-202 thousand; +3.1-8%).
The prices of the other six brands have changed for one or two models. These are JAC T9, Great Wall Poer and Poer KingKong, Chery Arrizo 8, Wey 07 and 80, Exeed VX, as well as Lada Granta and Niva Legend. Among them, the price of Exeed VX has increased the most - by Br580 thousand (by Br480-580 thousand; +7.6-9.6%).
On the eve, head of AvtoVAZ Maxim Sokolov said that one of the main reasons for the rise in prices of Lada cars is the sanctions pressure.
Also on Monday, it was reported that the UAZ SGR ("Bukhanka") and "Profi" cars went up in price by Br70 thousand to Br100 thousand, depending on the modification and engine type.
