Current US President Joe Biden said during his farewell address to the nation on January 15 that he was able to strengthen NATO and preserve Ukraine's freedom.
"Abroad we have strengthened NATO, Ukraine remains free," follows from the US leader's address, which was broadcast on the White House's YouTube channel.
In addition, according to Biden, the United States during his presidency was able to surpass China in the competition. He also emphasized that it is the United States, not China, that should become the leader in the global development of artificial intelligence. The head of state noted that it will take time to perceive everything he has achieved as US President.
"Now more than ever it is important that people govern, and as a country of freedom America, not China, should become the global leader in the development of AI," Biden said.
However, he believes that at the moment, he believes that an oligarchy that threatens democracy is beginning to take hold in the US. At the same time, he notes the "excessive concentration" of wealth in the hands of a minority.
In addition, Biden in his farewell address expressed gratitude to his family, Americans and members of the White House administration, as well as urged American citizens to preserve the key values of the country.
