SBP transfers to nine countries became available to Russians

The fast payment system is actively developing its international direction - a number of Russian banks already offer to send money abroad. In Alfa and VTB, SBP transfers to three countries are available. In the first customers can transfer funds to Belarus, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, said in the support service. In VTB retail clients can now make such transfers to Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, reported "Izvestia" in the press service of the credit organization.

In RSHB and Bank Novikom transfers to Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are available. The list of foreign credit organizations, which accept such transfers, is changing. Now there are 50 banks in it, specified in the press service of Novikom.

Nine destinations are available to T-bank clients for transfers abroad under the SBP. In addition to those listed above - Abkhazia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Laos, said the support service.

In the BRB bank is still considering the possibility of launching such functionality.

Over the past year, the list of countries where you can send money via SBP has expanded significantly. At the end of 2023, there were only five. The number of foreign banks accepting money through the fast payment system is also growing. In September 2023, there were 37 of them.

The process is hampered by the fact that many partner countries are afraid of secondary sanctions, explained the CEO of the payment service Vepay Georgi Nikonov.
