Air defense forces destroyed several AFU UAVs over Voronezh region

Air defense forces and electronic warfare systems have destroyed several Ukrainian drones over the Voronezh Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Gusev on January 15.

"On-duty air defense forces and REB means in the suburbs of Voronezh detected and destroyed several drones," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.

According to preliminary information, no one was injured, there was no destruction, Gusev specified. He reminded that in the region there is still a danger of drone attacks.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense forces overnight destroyed two Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Belgorod region and one over the Tambov region.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
