Auto expert predicted the price of the new Lada Niva Sport
The new Lada Niva Sport SUV, which is scheduled to go on sale in 2025, will cost about 1.6 million rubles. Maxim Kadakov, editor-in-chief of Za Rulem magazine, shared this opinion with Izvestia on January 16.
"Lada Niva Bronto in a car dealership costs about 1.5 million rubles. Apparently, the Niva Sport will cost about 100-150 thousand rubles more," Kadakov told Izvestia.
The new Lada Niva Sport was first publicly presented at the AvtoVAZ press conference in Moscow the previous day. This SUV is characterized by sporty suspension and brake settings, as well as the original powertrain: the SUV is equipped with a 16-valve engine rated at 122 hp (151 Nm at 5000 rpm).
The engine is combined with a modernized manual transmission (reinforced fifth gear pinions, reinforced clutch housing, single-lever drive transfer case). The interior trim is made in a contrasting sporty style. Assembly of the new modification will be handled by the division "Lada Sport".
On January 15, it was announced that AvtoVAZ has planned 15 major product events for 2025, including the launch of completely new models and updating of existing ones. The world premiere of the new Lada crossover on the Vesta platform will take place in June 2025 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
