In Chicago, a passenger plane aborted takeoff due to a collision with a coyote
A passenger plane at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport aborted takeoff because of a collision with a coyote during acceleration. This was reported on January 14 by CBS News with reference to United Airlines.
The airline said that the incident occurred on Sunday, January 12. Flight 1727 was about to take off when the landing gear collided with the beast. Afterward, the plane was forced to return to the terminal for inspection.
Passengers were transferred to another aircraft as a result of the incident. On board the decommissioned aircraft were 167 passengers and six crew members.
At the same time, the airline did not report on the condition of the coyote.
Earlier, on January 7, The Mirror newspaper reported that the bodies of two people were found in the landing gear compartment of the JetBlue aircraft. The airline said it was going to cooperate closely with authorities during the investigation.
