Warming to +5 degrees Celsius predicted in the Pskov region

Forecasters predicted warming to +5 degrees Celsius in the next 24 hours in the Pskov region. In some places, wet snow will fall.

According to forecasts, during the night hours the temperature will be 0...+3 degrees. In some places ice will form. Wind speed will reach 8 meters per second, writes Pskov newswire.

Against the background of the thaw in 22 municipalities have already banned going out on the ice. Residents of the region are reminded that the surface of water bodies is unstable. The ice thickness is not uniform across the regions and ranges from 3 to 10 centimeters.

The regional Emergencies Ministry notes that a slight cooling is expected after January 21. Nevertheless, the Pskov region predicts an early onset of spring.
