A sales clerk in the town of Topki, Kemerovo region, stopped a thief who tried to steal food and a frying pan, after which she beat him on the head with a selected object. This is reported on January 15 by the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.
It is noted that the attacker turned out to be a 63-year-old local resident. The employee of the store rushed after the man, caught up with him on the way out at the door and hit him several times with a frying pan, which fell out from under the jacket of the hapless thief.
The incident is being investigated. In respect of the 43-year-old saleswoman a protocol was drawn up under part 1 of article 20.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Petty hooliganism"). An administrative case under article 6.1.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Beatings") has also been initiated. She may face arrest up to 15 days or a fine of up to 1 thousand rubles. When questioned by the police, the woman apologized for her behavior.
"On this incident, I would like to apologize for the fact that I responded with aggression to aggression," said the figurehead.
A report has been drawn up against the man under Part 2 of Article 7.27 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Petty theft"). He can also be arrested for 15 days or brought to compulsory labor for up to 120 hours.
Earlier, January 3, in Moscow, a 32-year-old woman in a state of alcoholic intoxication at night broke the glass door to a beauty salon and took out cosmetics worth more than 20 thousand rubles. The employees of the salon found traces of the robbery in the morning when they came to work. The thief was promptly tracked down and detained by the police. A criminal case under part 2 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Theft with illegal entry into the premises") was initiated. The defendant may face up to five years of imprisonment.
