Commission to support regional cinema established in Transbaikalia
The Zabaikalsky Krai has established a commission to support regional cinematography. The corresponding order was signed by acting head of the regional government Andrei Kefer.
IA ChitaMedia with reference to the regional Ministry of Culture writes that the film commission consists of 10 people. These are representatives of the government, specialized educational institutions, directors and actors.
Representatives of the film industry will be assisted, in particular, in the selection of sites for shooting, can consult with filmmakers. The Commission will be engaged in the formation of actor databases, solving issues of accommodation, travel, food, equipment, filming sites and studios.
In late December, the head of the department Olga Lyubimova said that the Ministry of Culture will expand support for the production of national films aimed at strengthening spiritual and moral values. In the coming year, the department will finance the creation of at least 140 such films. According to her, our film distribution market has managed not only accelerated adaptation to the sanctions, but also demonstrated significant success: by mid-December, its volume exceeded 43 billion rubles, and 33 billion of them provided domestic films.
