"Spartak" has terminated the contract with Portuguese defender Tomas Tavares

Soccer club "Spartak" terminated the contract with Portuguese defender Tomas Tavares by agreement of the parties. This was reported in the press service of "Spartak" on January 15 .

"Unfortunately, the consequences of a serious injury prevented him from showing all facets of his talent and realize the potential in our club. We sincerely wish good luck to the defender in his future career and thank him for the time spent in our ranks," - noted in the message.

The 23-year-old footballer moved to Spartak from Benfica in 2023. In the club he played 22 matches and also scored one goal for the team.

Earlier, on January 14, Spartak and striker Willian Jose terminated the contract. In the message of the club noted that the termination of the contract with the 33-year-old footballer occurred by mutual consent of the parties.
