In Ryazan, a schoolboy accidentally shot a classmate with a toy gun

A teenager accidentally shot a classmate with a toy gun in one of the schools in Ryazan, reported on Wednesday, January 15, in the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Ryazan region.

"According to preliminary information, one of the students of the eighth grade recklessly shot a classmate from a toy gun shooting plastic balls. The toy was freely available on one of the marketplaces," the department's Telegram channel said.

The incident occurred in the Moscow district of the city. Police officers immediately arrived on the scene.

The victim was taken to a medical institution, where he was assisted, his life and health is not threatened. A check is being carried out.

As specified the source of "Izvestiya", the boy born in 2010, who brought a gun to school, was interviewed. According to the child, the shot occurred when he was examining a toy and someone pushed him. The plastic ball hit another 14-year-old in the head.

Earlier, on December 21, 2024, in St. Petersburg, a boy shot a classmate in the eye with an air gun. The victim required medical attention.
