A suspect in a more than 30-year-old murder has been detained in Tula
Police officers in Tula detained a man suspected of a murder, which was committed more than 30 years ago, in May 1994. This was reported on January 15 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk.
It is noted that we are talking about a shootout that occurred in a casino in the Zarechensky district of Tula. In the institution there was a conflict between two men. After one of them went out, but soon returned with a gun and shot several times at his opponent. The casino employee was also injured.
The intruder himself immediately fled. It was not possible to apprehend him on hot tracks. In December 2024, police officers together with investigators found new witnesses to the crime.
"As a result, operationally significant information was obtained in respect of previously convicted for illegal possession of weapons, robbery and hooliganism 55-year-old native of the city of Pinsk, Brest region", - stated in the Telegram-channel Volk.
The figurant was detained by employees of the threat police in Tula, the man was taken to the investigating authorities.
Before that, on December 5, 2024, law enforcement agencies detained in the Moscow region four men suspected of a triple murder committed on September 3, 2005. The crime was committed in September in the village of Snegiri, Istrinsky District, Moscow Region. The intruders entered a private house through a window. They hit the owner with a bat, and then beat up the victim's husband and father, who came running to the noise.
The men died on the spot from their injuries, the woman later died in hospital. The criminals stole jewelry and then fled. The defendants were charged under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder").
