A man who rammed an SUV through the doors of a temple was detained in Vladivostok

In Vladivostok, police officers detained the driver of an SUV that rammed the doors of a temple and also crashed into several parked cars. This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry Irina Volk in Telegram-channel on January 15.

Volk noted that the inspectors quickly arrived at the scene, but the man behind the wheel did not get out of the car and continued driving. He collided with a patrol car and a bus, and then tried to escape.

It is specified that the car on which he was traveling was stolen.

In the Telegram-channel of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia's Investigative Committee (IC) for the region reported that a criminal case under Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Use of violence against representatives of the authorities") was opened against the man.

As indicated in the Telegram-channel of the Prosecutor's Office of Primorsky Krai, criminal cases have also been opened against him under Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism committed with the threat of violence, with the use of an object used as a weapon, associated with resistance to a representative of authority") and Part 1 of Art. 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Unlawful seizure of a car or other vehicle without the purpose of theft").

Earlier, on January 2, it became known that in Moscow, a 32-year-old man tried to steal a Mercedes, while the owner of the car took things from the trunk. It was reported that the attacker was detained, he is a citizen of Belarus. A criminal case was initiated against the man.
