Moscow court arrests Shakro Molodoy's nephew in attempted murder case
A court in Moscow has arrested Vitalik Kalashov, nephew of Zakhary Kalashov, who is known in criminal circles as Shakro Molodoy, in a case of attempted murder. This was reported on January 14 in the press service of the capital's prosecutor's office.
"Taking into account the position of the Meshchanskaya inter-district prosecutor's office, the court has taken into custody 22-year-old Vitalik Kalashov, accused of attempted murder (part 3 of article 30, part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," - stated in the message.
The report noted that the crime was committed on December 30, 2024. Then between the accused and two buyers of the store on the street Neglinnaya there was a conflict. Clarification of relations continued on the street, where Kalashov in the course of the quarrel several times hit a 35-year-old man, who was subsequently hospitalized.
After the crime was committed, the accused fled and was put on the wanted list. He threw away his cell phone and bought a new one with a different SIM card, changed his place of stay several times, but was detained in Balashikha near Moscow. He admitted guilt partially.
The detention of Kalashov's nephew became known the day before.
On March 13, 2024, a court in Kuban granted Kalashov's petition for parole. On March 22, Yury Blokhin, a researcher of prison subculture, candidate of law, associate professor, suggested that the man could have been released because of health problems.
Later, on March 29, Kalashov's lawyer Tengiz Papaskua told Izvestia that his client was released on parole from a colony in Krasnodar Krai, but did not comment on his health condition. On April 1, Kalashov himself said that he was released due to vision problems.
In March 2018, Moscow' s Nikulinsky court sentenced Shakro Molodogo to nine years and 10 months in a strict regime colony. The indictment called him a leader of the Russian criminal world. Kalashov and his accomplices were found guilty of extorting 8 million rubles from the owner of the Moscow restaurant Elements and 10 million rubles from the director of the company Nordneftgaz, Lev Garamov.
According to the investigation, the accomplices arrived at the Elements restaurant on Rochdelskaya Street on December 14, 2015 and began extorting money from its owner under the threat of property damage and violence. The conflict led to a shootout, the victims of which were two people.
