Photojournalist Alexander Drozdov died at the 84th year of life
Honored Culture Worker of the Russian Federation, photojournalist Alexander Drozdov died at the age of 83. This was reported on January 15 in the press service of the St. Petersburg branch of the Union of Journalists of Russia.
"The outstanding St. Petersburg master of photography, honored worker of culture of the Russian Federation Alexander Ivanovich Drozdov passed away," - stated in the Telegram-channel.
Colleagues of the photojournalist noted that he was devoted to his work and inspired by St. Petersburg, which he loved and saw "like no one else." It is noted that despite his illnesses, he continued to make photos "until his last days".
Drozdov since 1979 worked in the newspaper "Leningradskaya Pravda", after in "St. Petersburg Vedomosti". Among other things, he collaborated with other media outlets. Among his merits is the corporate style of the digest "24 Hours", which was formed thanks to his black-and-white photography.
