The right tunnel between the stations "Zvenigorodskaya" and "Shelepikha" on the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya metro line in Moscow has been laid. This was told in his official Telegram-channel by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin.

He noted that it was not an easy task. The tunneling was completed at a great depth - 41 meters in the underground dismantling chamber in the area of the adjacency to the tunnels of the Great Ring Line. Construction of the left tunnel is planned to start in spring.

The Zvenigorodskaya station itself is almost one third complete. There will be one island platform and two underground vestibules with exits to Shenogina Street and 1st Silikatny passage.

Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya branch will pass from "Moscow-City" to Rublevo-Arkhangelsky beyond the Moscow Ring Road. It is being built in several stages.

The opening of the new metro line will improve transportation services for almost one million residents of seven central, western and northwestern districts of Moscow, including renovation neighborhoods and areas of integrated development.
