Eduard Senovoz announced his resignation as head of Energodar
Eduard Senovoz has resigned as mayor of Energodar, a satellite town of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant (ZNPP). He announced this on January 15 in his Telegram channel.
"Dear Energodar residents, I am leaving the post of the head of the city. This decision was not easy, but it is dictated by the new tasks set before me by Rosenergoatom Concern," the message reads.
Senovoz specified that in the near future deputies of the city Council will consider his application for early termination of office. They will also decide on the appointment of the acting head of Energodar.
As for the team of the city administration headed by the first deputy mayor Maxim Pukhov, it will continue its work aimed at the development of the settlement.
Eduard Senovoz was appointed head of Zaporizhzhya Energodar in December 2022.
Earlier, on September 20, 2024, Eduard Bakiev left the post of deputy governor of the Tyumen region at his own will. The corresponding order was signed by the governor of the region.
