The State Duma has drafted a bill to increase fines for drivers of vehicles with a maximum speed of 30 km/h who do not mark their car with a special sticker "Quiet vehicle". The initiative belongs to LDPR deputy Ivan Sukharev, the faction reported on January 15 in its Telegram channel.

LDPR proposes to make such a violation a separate offense and increase fines from Br500 to Br3 thousand. According to Sukharev, slow-moving cars without the appropriate sign regularly cause major accidents. In addition, other drivers often receive unfair fines by overtaking overly slow vehicles, he pointed out.

"The presence of an identification sign would solve this problem, but not everyone is in a hurry to install it, because the fine for the lack of a sticker is only 500 rubles. Such careless drivers should pay with a ruble for their own irresponsibility," - said Sukharev.

The day before it was reported that the installation of anti-static ribbons on the car is not a violation of traffic rules and can not be the basis for bringing the car owner to administrative responsibility. Earlier in a number of mass media there was information that the presence of rubber antistatic tape on the car allegedly can become the basis for bringing the driver to a fine, allegedly it is an amendment to the design of the vehicle.
