Mishustin invited Vietnamese representatives and investors to Russia
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has invited representatives and investors of Vietnam to Russia, including to the St. Petersburg International and Eastern Economic Forums. He said this during a meeting with representatives of Russian and Vietnamese business circles on January 15.
"I want to invite Vietnamese investors to Russia. <...> And, of course, we invite Vietnamese representatives to the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in the summer and to the Eastern Economic Forum this fall in Vladivostok," said the head of the Russian government.
Mishustin also added that Russia is creating opportunities for foreign companies to actively work in the Russian market on mutually beneficial terms.
"I am sure our Vietnamese friends will be interested to take part in these events and expand their business contacts," he said.
Earlier, on January 14, talks between representatives of Russia and Vietnam began in Hanoi, with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and his Vietnamese counterpart Pham Minh Tinh taking part. The head of the Russian government is scheduled to meet with Vietnamese President Luong Cuong, Chairman of the country's National Assembly Tran Thanh Manh and Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Republic Tho Lam.
Before the talks, Mishustin laid wreaths at the Memorial to Fallen Heroes and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. He was accompanied by Tran Van Son, head of the Vietnamese Government Office.
The day before, January 13, Mishustin flew to Vietnam for an official visit, which will take place on January 14-15. Following the talks, Moscow and Hanoi are going to sign a number of joint documents.
