Every third Russian respondent (28%) plans to change his or her place of work in 2025. This is stated in the results of a survey by the Russian School of Management (RSM), which were reported by Izvestia on January 15.

Respondents who are thinking about such changes, told about the reasons. Among the most frequent ones: low salary (47% of respondents said so), lack of opportunities for professional growth (45%), lack of career prospects (39%), dissatisfaction with management (24%), dissatisfaction with the team (8%).

At the same time, 16% of survey participants plan to change their profession in 2025. The main reasons for this decision are: the desire to earn more (73%), lack of prospects in the current sphere (46%), dislike of the current job (14%).

At the same time, the majority of Russians are satisfied with their place of work or do not see the need for changes. However, a significant part of those who do plan to change their job or profession point to the lack of opportunities for growth and financial dissatisfaction, the experts found out.

"Employees increasingly pay attention not only to the level of salary, but also to opportunities for professional and career growth. This is an important signal for employers: in order to retain talent, it is necessary to create conditions for employee development, support their desire to learn and allow them to realize their potential. The balance between financial and non-financial motivation will allow to create the most comfortable conditions for the staff and reduce the risks of staff shortage", - said the Director of the Russian School of Management Anastasia Borovskaya.

Earlier, January 10, it was reported that the majority of surveyed Russians (57%) intend to actively pay attention to their careers in 2025. This is stated in the results of a study of analysts hh.ru. A year ago, 65% of respondents intended to spend more time on work.
