HC "Lokomotiv" defeated SKA in overtime

Lokomotiv Yaroslavl ice hockey club defeated SKA St. Petersburg in overtime of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season match. The meeting took place on January 13 and ended with a score of 4:3.

The winners scored goals from forwards Artur Kayumov and Alexander Radulov, who scored a double, and defenseman Rushan Rafikov. SKA scored on forwards Ivan Demidov and Zakhar Bardakov and defenseman Alexander Nikishin.

"Lokomotiv" won its fourth consecutive victory. Based on the results of the match, the club is in first place in the Western Conference standings with 74 points, while SKA is in seventh place with 55 points.

Earlier in the day, CSKA defeated Spartak 4-2 at home. The hosts opened the scoring in the first minute. In the third period, Vitaly Abramov injured his left shoulder in a collision with opponent Dmitry Vishnevsky.

Also on the tour, Metallurg won its ninth consecutive victory, beating Sochi 4-2 on home ice. The winners scored goals from Dmitry Silantyev, Artem Minulin and Egor Korobkin. Denis Vengryzhanovsky and Daniil Seroukh scored for Sochi.
