Emergencies Ministry employees have eliminated open burning in a military hospital in Tula. This was reported by the Governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev on January 13.

"At 22:05 open burning in the building of the military hospital on Sovetskaya in the city of Tula was liquidated", - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.

About the fire in Tula became known earlier in the day. The fire occurred on Sovetskaya Street in the military hospital, from which 57 people were evacuated as a result of the incident. There were no fatalities or casualties. The preliminary cause of the fire was attributed to faulty electrical wiring.

All patients evacuated from the hospital were placed in other hospitals. As a result of the fire, the building's spire and part of the roof collapsed. In extinguishing the fire involved 22 units of equipment, 65 personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Fire supp ression is complicated by the fact that the hospital consists of wooden ceilings and partitions with voids.
