Mishustin flew to Vietnam on a two-day official visit
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has arrived in Vietnam on a two-day official visit. This was reported by the press service of the Russian government in its Telegram channel on January 13.
During the visit it is planned to discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral relations, including scientific and technological, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
Attention will be paid to the implementation of joint projects in the field of transportation, energy, industry and other areas.
It is specified that at the end of the talks it is planned to sign a number of joint documents.
In November 2024, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin met with Vietnam's Deputy Minister of Public Security Pham The Tung inMoscow to discuss cooperation on international information security (IIS) within the UN framework.
Vershinin and Tung expressed readiness to strengthen coordination to agree on the parameters of a permanent negotiating mechanism on ISI issues at the UN after 2025.
