"TasteWill suspended sales of DanBosch dessert after complaints of glass ingestion

Trade network "VkusVill" temporarily stopped selling dessert case cake "DanBosh" because of reports about glass getting into the product. This was reported in the company on January 13.

On Monday, January 12, information was spread in Telegram channels that a customer from Moscow got glass in the dessert. It was specified that the package was not opened.

VkusVilla specified that the customer's appeal was received on January 10. The courier took the package, in which the fragment was found. It is noted that the object is a piece of plastic, since glass is not used in production.

"Now our colleagues from quality control together with the manufacturer are conducting an investigation. The main task is to identify possible risks associated with the integrity of the packaging and, if necessary, to take additional control measures," - said the representative of the retail chain "RIA Novosti".

It is specified that the supplier was audited by the retail chain and the risks associated with fragile plastic and glass were not found. Sales of the case cake are suspended until the circumstances are clarified.

Earlier, on December 30, 2024, "VkusVill" temporarily stopped the sale and supply of dumplings "Meat assortment " from LLC "Chali" because of the identified violations. It was noted that after a customer complaint, a batch of the product was sent for testing to two independent laboratories, but no violations were found.
