Muscovite found in his apartment the mummy of his missing father

A Moscow resident found a mummy of his father, whom he thought was missing, in his apartment. This was reported by a source of Izvestiya on January 13.

According to him, the man has not contacted any of his relatives since June 2024. On January 9, 2025 the son came to his father's apartment and found his mummy.

It is specified that the young man called law enforcement agencies to the scene.

As noted by the interlocutor of the publication, the man, tentatively, died of cardiac arrest. In addition, a weapon was found in his apartment.

The causes and circumstances of the incident are being investigated by law enforcement officers.

Earlier, on January 11, it was reported that the body of an unknown man with bodily injuries was found in an apartment in the Moscow region. The suspect - previously repeatedly convicted 36-year-old man - confessed to the crime. He is detained. A criminal case has been opened.
