Surgeon in case of failed operation on FEOR head's wife extended house arrest
Zamoskvoretskyi district court has extended house arrest of plastic surgeon Ekaterina Lonskaya. This was reported to "Izvestia" on January 13 by lawyer Andrei Alyoshkin.
The measure of restraint is scheduled until February 14.
According to the lawyer, the injured party intends to file a lawsuit for compensation for moral and material damage.
Lonskaya performed blepharoplasty on the wife of the head of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia Inna Boroda in the fall of 2023 in the clinic "Klazko". The surgery was unsuccessful, the woman almost lost her vision and underwent several more operations to correct the results of blepharoplasty.
As the victim's lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky told Izvestia, Lonskaya is accused of providing services that do not meet safety requirements (part 2 of Article 238) and causing serious harm to health through negligence (part 2 of Article 118).
