A case has been opened after an attack with a hammer on a girl with a child in Novokuznetsk

A criminal case on robbery has been opened against two young men who beat an 18-year-old girl with a child with a hammer in Novokuznetsk. This was reported by the source of "Izvestiya" on January 13.

The incident allegedly took place in the area of Enthusiastov Street.

According to the interlocutor, the victim was previously engaged in the distribution of drugs. In an attempt to complete the criminal activity, an unknown person published the girl's private data on the Internet, and later two young men attacked her with a hammer in the presence of her two-year-old son.

It was established that the attackers were a previously convicted 15-year-old teenager and a 24-year-old man.

The attackers have been detained.

Earlier in the day, a 20-year-old man in a state of intoxication attacked visitors and employees of a grocery store in Shchelkovo near Moscow, three people were injured. Law enforcers specified that the attack was gratuitous. CCTV footage shows that the attacker first attacked one of the visitors, and then chased after him and attacked other people along the way. A man inside the store was able to bring the man with the knife to the floor.

Later that day, the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the Moscow region reported that a criminal case had been opened against the attacker under part 3 of article 30, paragraph "a" of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder"). It was specified that the lives of the three wounded are not threatened.
