TV presenter Yuri Nikolaev was hospitalized with a fracture
TV host Yuri Nikolaev said on Monday, January 13, that he was hospitalized with a fracture.
"Now I'm lying under an IV. But there is nothing terrible. To be honest, I did not think there would be a fracture. I thought, well, a bruise," Nikolaev told RT TV channel, his words are quoted in the Telegram-channel.
Before that, the media reported that the presenter is suspected to have a hip fracture.
Earlier, on November 10, 2024, Nikolaev went to the hospital with a high fever after fainting. Medics sent the presenter to the intensive care unit, ruling out a heart attack and stroke. Then, on November 22, Nikolaev said that he began to feel better and he was transferred to a regular ward.
The TV host was discharged on November 27, he said that he was fine and thanked everyone who supported him.
Nikolaev is 75 years old. The Soviet and Russian TV presenter is best known for his musical TV programs "Morning Mail", "Morning Star" and "Property of the Republic".
