Hikers missing near Odinokaya mountain found in Perm region

Four tourists disappeared in the area of the Odinokaya mountain in the Perm region, the signal about their disappearance came in the evening on Sunday, January 12. Rescuers were able to locate the travelers overnight, said the governor of the Kama region Dmitry Makhonin in his Telegram.

"Specialists of our rescue service responded, established contact with the group, began the search at 3:00. The search was complicated by difficult weather conditions. At the moment, all members of the tour group have been found," wrote the head of the region, his quote quotes IA "Ura.ru".

According to Makhonin, before going to the mountains, the tourists did not register with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which complicated their search. The travelers were taken to the nearest base for medical examination, their condition is assessed as satisfactory.

Odinokaya Mountain is located near the town of Kizel, about 230 km from Perm. It is located next to Oslyanka Mountain, which is popular among tourists.

Earlier in January, experts found out where Russians are going in the spring-summer of 2025. The volume of tour bookings was 1.7 times higher than in the same period a year earlier.
