A resident of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area stabbed to death a young drinking buddy before New Year's Eve

A resident of Nyagan (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug) committed a brutal murder before the New Year. While drinking alcoholic beverages, the man attacked a young drinking companion with a knife, reports the press service of the courts of Yugra on Monday, January 13.

The tragedy occurred on the night of December 30, 2024. During a drinking party, the 44-year-old accused because of personal animosity attacked a guy born in 2001 and gave him at least four blows with a sharp object in the area of the neck and chest. As a result, the victim died of his injuries.

According to Ura.ru news agency, the investigator of the Nyagansk inter-district investigation department filed a petition with the court to arrest the defendant. The suspect was remanded in custody for two months while the murder investigation is underway.

Earlier, in January, it was reported that in the Moscow region, a man attacked the staff and customers of the store with a knife. Three people were injured.
