Police found 26 illegal immigrants during a raid on a Moscow nightclub

Police officers, conducting a raid in a nightclub on Yeniseyskaya Street in the northeast of Moscow, found 26 migrants who were illegally staying in Russia. This was reported on January 13 by the head of the information and public relations department of the main department of the Russian Interior Ministry in Moscow, Colonel of Internal Service Vladimir Vasenin.

"Police officers of the Department of Internal Affairs for the North-Eastern Administrative District of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Moscow suppressed violations of migration laws in a night establishment on Yeniseyskaya Street," Vasenin said, his words are quoted on the website of the capital's department of the ministry.

He pointed out that after the raid in the club, police officers brought to the department of the establishment's employees to check whether they are legally in Russia. In respect of 26 migrants drew up protocols on administrative violations under Art. 18.8 of the CAO RF "Violation by a foreign citizen or stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation".

These materials were sent to the courts of the North-Eastern District of Moscow, where the migrants' cases were considered on the merits and the offenders were found guilty. The illegals were fined 5 thousand rubles. It was decided to expel these people from the Russian Federation.

Earlier, on November 12, 2024, the police conducted searches in a hostel on Talalikhina Street in Moscow and found more than 300 migrants there. The foreigners were taken to law enforcement agencies. In addition, investigators took for study the financial and economic documentation of the institution. The management and administration of the hostel were taken to the department.
