In Moscow, 63 cultural objects will be renovated in 2024
In 2024, 63 cultural facilities, including theaters, libraries and art schools, were renovated in Moscow. This was announced by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin in his Telegram-channel on January 12.
In total, since 2018, 170 buildings of art schools have been renovated in the city, more than 13 thousand musical instruments and about 9 thousand units of technological equipment have been purchased there. Until 2030 in the capital is planned to update another 19 buildings, reports RIAMO.
Specialists also overhauled five libraries. In them engineering systems were replaced, glazing was carried out, the order in the premises was restored. In addition, there is new and modern equipment.
Also, in particular, the overhaul of KC "Moskvich" located on Volgogradsky Prospekt was completed, writes "Moscow 24". There the facade and engineering systems, security systems, auditorium were renewed, the roof and premises were repaired, and the territory was improved.
In 2025 they have already started to develop an architectural concept for the restoration of the old stage of the theater "Grandpa Durov's Corner". In addition, it is planned to repair the Marionette Theater and the Moscow Theater and Concert Center of Pavel Slobodkin, as well as the "Progress of the stage of Armen Dzhigarkhanyan" of the Satire Theater, notes the agency of city news "Moscow".
On January 7, Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the capital's Department of Urban Planning Policy, said that in 2024, 14 cultural facilities were built and renovated in Moscow. According to him, in particular, a museum of arts on the boulevard of Brothers Vesnin in Danilovsky district with the area of 13.8 thousand square meters was built. Also a large-scale reconstruction of six Soviet cinemas was completed, writes NSN.
