Power supply restored in 1.2 thousand settlements in the Leningrad Region

Power supply was restored after unfavorable weather conditions in 1,209 settlements of the Leningrad Region. This was reported by the power grid company "Rosseti Lenenergo" on January 12.

"Specialists of "Rosseti Lenenergo" continue to restore power lines affected by bad weather in the Leningrad region.<...> Power supply has been restored in 1,209 settlements", - informed the press service in the Telegram-channel of the company.

It is specified that the brigades of the company have completed works on 302 power lines of 6-10 kV. In addition, about 900 trees were removed.

The company also pointed to numerous debris on access country roads, which create difficulties for power engineers on the way to the power lines.

Earlier, on October 20, 2024, in the city of Pavlovsk, which is part of St. Petersburg, at least 16 houses were left without light due to an accident at power substations. There noted that the emergency brigade is working to eliminate the consequences of the blackout.
