The governor reported a destroyed drone over the Bryansk region

Air defense means (Air Defense Forces) have destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the skies over the Bryansk region, Governor Alexander Bogomaz said on January 13.

"An aircraft-type UAV was destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk region by air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Bogomaz added that there were no casualties or damage. Emergency services are working at the scene.

On the eve of Governor Bogomaz, a woman was killed as a result of a strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Karachevsky district in Bryansk region. The woman's family will be provided with material assistance.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
