In St. Petersburg again suspended the reception and release of airplanes due to worsening weather conditions. This was reported in the Telegram channel of Pulkovo airport on January 12.
It is specified that the restrictions are introduced to ensure the necessary traction on the runways.
As noted by the official representative of Rosaviatsia Artem Korenyako, heavy rainfall in the form of snow continues in the area of the airport. According to preliminary data, flight restrictions will be in effect until 17:10 Moscow time.
In the morning of January 12, flight restrictions were already imposed in Pulkovo. They were in effect until 13:30.
Due to bad weather in the airport area 33 airplanes left for alternate airfields.
