Court remanded teenager who broke into Kursk school in custody

The court has remanded in custody a teenager, who is accused of attempted terrorist act after the attack on the school in Kurs. This was reported on January 12 in the press service of the investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee (ICS) of the Russian Federation in the region.

"The court elected a measure of restraint in the form of detention," - stated in the Telegram-channel.

It is established that in the vicinity of school number 54 in Kursk the figure broke with a hammer the windows of the car parked nearby with a hammer, and then proceeded to the building. It is noted that he damaged the windows of the front door and fled. Preliminary, the teenager was going to commit arson.

In the SU SK RF in the Kursk region added that the investigation of the criminal case continues.

A teenager in a hat, balaclava and with a hammer in his hands broke into the school № 54 in Kursk on January 10. It was specified that the young man also had two knives and lighter fluid in his bag. The guard immediately activated the alarm system, and four minutes later the Rosgvardia arrived on the scene, but the teenager managed to escape.

The intruder was detained on the territory of the dacha SNT "Michurinets". It was noted that there were no casualties as a result of the incident.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Central Administrative District of Kursk began an inspection after the accident. Deputy Governor of Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein also said that in Kursk will be checked the security of all schools in connection with the incident.

A criminal case was initiated against the teenager on the grounds of a crime under part 3 of article 30, part 1 of article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (part 1 of article 205 of the Criminal Code). 1 article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempt to commit a terrorist act").
