A cab passenger was killed when the car collided with an electric train at a railroad crossing in the Leningrad region, the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region reported on January 12.
The accident occurred around 7:45 Moscow time at the Shcheglovo - Kirpichny Zavod railroad crossing in the Vsevolozhsky district. According to the police, the driver of a Geely cab failed to cope with the control and at a prohibited traffic signal drove onto the railroad tracks, where the train was passing.
