A criminal case has been opened in the Leningrad Region after the disappearance of a fourth-grade girl

In Gatchina, Leningrad region, the search is underway for a 12-year-old girl, who left home on Friday, January 10, and has not yet returned. As reported on January 12, TV channel "78", on the fact of the disappearance of a fourth-grader opened a criminal case.

It is noted that the disappearance of the child was reported by the 33-year-old mother of the girl. According to her, cases of leaving her daughter from home have happened before. This time she left on Friday morning the apartment in the house on Volkova Street and did not appear again.

A criminal case has been opened under part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of a minor, coupled with kidnapping"). The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

At the end of December 2024 Primorye police officers searched for the teenager, after he had been missing for about 20 days. The 16-year-old boy was reported missing on December 9. On December 13, the teenager was put on a federal wanted list, after which he was detained in the area of Kashtanova Street in Vladivostok on December 28.
