A brain chip from Neuralink has been implanted in the world's third patient. This was announced on January 11 by American entrepreneur, billionaire and company founder Ilon Musk.

"We now have three people with implanted Neuralink implants, and all of them are working well," Musk said in an interview with Stagwell marketing company director Mark Penn, which was broadcast on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

In addition, he added that the number of neurochip patients could be 20-30 this year.

Earlier, on November 26, 2024, it was reported that Neuralink is starting to test technology that allows paralyzed people to control a robotic arm. The company called it the first step toward restoring physical freedom.
