Operation of Ulyanovsk and Samara airports temporarily restricted
Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the operation of airports in Ulyanovsk and Samara to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights. This is reported by Rosaviatsia on January 11.
"Temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft introduced at the airports: Ulyanovsk (Barataevka; ICAO code: UWLL) - from 13:40 Moscow time; Samara (Kurumoch; UWWWW) - c 14:00 Moscow time," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the representative of the department Artem Korenyako.
It is noted that the safety of passenger flights is the top priority for crews, air traffic controllers and airport services.
It is also added that the restrictions on the work of Saratov airport (Gagarin), which were introduced earlier in the day, have been lifted. Since 14:30 the air harbor functions in the usual mode.
Earlier in the day, temporary restrictions were also introduced at the airports of Kazan, Nizhnekamsk and Ulyanovsk. During the restrictions, two airplanes flying to Kazan landed at an alternate airfield in Ufa.
Later it was reported that the temporary flight restrictions at the airports of Kazan, Nizhnekamsk and Ulyanovsk were canceled.
