Two drones attacked two apartment buildings in the town of Kotovsk in the Tambov region, according to Yevgeny Pervyshov, the acting governor, on January 11.

"Several people suffered from glass shards, they were assisted. There are no fires, the buildings have minor damage. We assess the damage caused, we will promptly eliminate the consequences," he said in Telegram-channel.

Pervyshov added that the residents of the affected apartments will be placed in a temporary accommodation center (TAC).

Shortly before that, the governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, said that the means of air defense and electronic warfare (REB) eliminated 15 drones in the sky above Voronezh.

Also in Krasnodar Krai, on the night of January 11, the Anapa mayor's office reported the operation of an alert system in connection with air defense systems in the city. There were no casualties, the administration later noted.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
