Governor Gusev reported 15 destroyed UAVs over Voronezh
Air defense (air defense) and electronic warfare (REB) means have eliminated several more unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the skies above Voronezh, Governor Alexander Gusev said on January 11.
"Several more UAVs have been detected and destroyed by on-duty air defense and REB forces in Voronezh. In total, more than 15 UAVs have already been shot down in the region this night," the region's head said in his Telegram channel.
According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or damage.
Before that, Gusev also reported on the elimination of several UAVs over Voronezh and the region. No casualties or damage were reported.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
