Two fonts on Lake Kenon will be equipped in Chita for baptismal bathing, which will be held from January 18 to 19. There will be no other places for ablutions in the city, reports the press service of the administration of the regional center in Telegram.
Fonts will appear in the area of school № 15 on Rakhova Street. The place for bathing will be cleared and fenced, two fountains will be cut through the ice and wooden handrails will be installed. Two tents for heating with wooden decks and benches will be placed nearby.
After immersion in water, those who wish can warm themselves with hot tea, a field kitchen will work. There will also be medics, law enforcement officers and EMERCOM staff on duty at the site, ChitaMedia news agency reported.
