Experts assessed the volume of mortgages issued by Sberbank during the New Year period

From December 16 to January 8, "Sber" issued 23.9 thousand mortgage loans worth Br92.9 billion, reported experts "Domklik". These figures are higher than in the first half of December, when the bank issued Br44.6 billion in mortgage lending.

The growth in the rate of issuance in the New Year period is due to the resumption of transactions under the "Family Mortgage", which is still the main driver of demand, experts say. In particular, in the New Year period it accounted for 68.9% of the total volume of mortgage loans "Sber".

In total, under the programs with state support was issued about 14.4 thousand loans amounting to 74.7 billion rubles, which corresponds to 80.4% of the total volume of mortgages issued by the bank. At the same time, the bank's share of the total volume of mortgage originations under the "Arctic and Far East Mortgage" amounted to 9.2%, and under the IT-mortgage - 1.9%.

Mainly with the help of mortgage loans Russians purchased apartments: their share amounted to 87.1% of the total volume of mortgages issued by Sber.

The most loans under mortgage lending under both basic and preferential programs were issued in Moscow - 10.4 billion rubles, or 11.2% of the total volume of Sber. In second place was the Moscow region - 6.2 billion rubles (6.7%). Also in the top five in terms of the volume of loans issued in the two weeks before New Year and during the holidays were Ufa - 4.5 billion rubles (4.9%), Yekaterinburg - 4.4 billion rubles (4.7%) and St. Petersburg - 4.3 billion rubles (4.7%).
