UAZ named best-selling model in Russia
Commercial vehicles of the UAZ SGR ("Bukhanka") family have become the best-selling in the model range of the brand in 2024. This was reported to "Izvestia" on January 10 in the press service of the Ulyanovsk automobile plant.
Thus, at the end of last year, 14.8 thousand vehicles "UAZ SGR" were sold in the Russian Federation. The second place is occupied by the SUV "Patriot" with the result of 9.8 thousand units. Next in the rating are "Pickup" (5.5 thousand units) and light truck "Profi" (5.3 thousand units), the fifth place is occupied by SUV "Hunter" (536 units).
In total, at the end of 2024, almost 36 thousand UAZ vehicles were sold in Russia.
On December 20, 2024, it was reported that in March next year the UAZ "Profi" with a diesel engine with a six-speed manual transmission will be launched on the market. And in November, an all-wheel drive version will be available with the same diesel engine. Also at the end of fall, the Ulyanovsk automobile plant is preparing the debut of the updated SUV "Patriot".
On November 1 last year, the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant started selling Hunter SUVs with a new engine. The model received a 2.7 liter ZMZ Pro engine, which until recently was equipped only with Patriot, Pickup and Pro cars.
