In Yakutia, an airplane flying on the Yakutsk - Tiksi route returned to the airport of departure due to a technical malfunction. This was reported by the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office in its Telegram channel on January 10.

"The crew of the aircraft Bombardier aircraft JSC AK Polar Airlines <...> reported a technical malfunction, in connection with which the crew decided to return to the departure airfield," - stated in the message.

It is specified that the Yakutsk transport prosecutor's office organized an inspection of compliance with legislation on flight safety.

According to the supervisory agency, the reserve aircraft departed at 17:30 local time (11:30 Moscow time).

Earlier, on January 8, a passenger plane DHC-8, which left Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, returned to the point of departure for technical reasons. There were 68 passengers on board, and the landing took place without incident. An inspection was organized on the fact of the forced return of the aircraft.
