- In Kursk, school security and security guards will be checked after a teenager attacked with a hammer
The security of all schools in Kursk will be checked after a teenager with a hammer broke into educational institution No. 54. This was announced on January 10 by Alexander Khinshtein, acting governor of the Kursk region.
"This is a serious signal for all of us. Now, together with the Rosgvardiya, UMVD, GU EMERCOM and other structures, we will conduct an inspection of the security of all schools. We will deal with this issue in detail and scrupulously", - he wrote in his Telegram-channel.
Also, these agencies will check the work of a private security organization (LLC "PSC "Sodezhdenie"). It provides security for the school where the incident occurred, as well as other educational institutions in Kursk, added the Kursk region's acting governor.
"Serious conclusions will definitely be drawn from what happened so that something like this never happens again," Hinshtein added.
Earlier in the day, a teenager in a hat, balaclava and with a hammer in his hands broke into school No. 54 in Kursk. It was specified that the young man also had two knives and lighter fluid in his bag. The young man broke a window and a glass door. The guard immediately activated the alarm system, and in four minutes the Rosgvardiya officers arrived on the scene, but the teenager managed to escape.
Soon the intruder was detained on the territory of the dacha community SNT "Michurinets". A criminal case has been opened over the incident. There were no victims as a result of the incident.
The prosecutor's office of the central administrative district of Kursk started an inspection after the incident.
