80 more cameras will appear on the roads of Krasnoyarsk region

Additional 80 stationary complexes of photo-video registration of violations will be installed on the roads of Krasnoyarsk Krai in 2025. Such information was announced at a meeting of the regional commission on road safety.

Thus, 40 new control boundaries will start working in January, and 40 more cameras will be connected in the second half of the year. As the head of the regional government Sergey Vereshchagin noted, the number of complexes will be further increased.

Cameras are considered to be the most effective method of reducing accidents on the roads. The devices record speeding, driving on the opposite side of the road, driving in a dedicated lane, headlights off, turning in the wrong place and other violations.

As KrasnoyarskMedia IA notes, also in 2025 there will be more mobile complexes - "tripods" on the highways. Earlier there were 35 of them, now their number will be increased to 72.

Today there are 163 stationary complexes for fixation of violations in the region. Mobile photo-video fixation devices were also used on 170 road sections. For 11 months, 2.9 million decisions were automatically issued. The total amount of fines is 2 billion rubles.

Earlier it was reported that from January 1, 2025 the fine for speeding at 20-40 km/h will increase from 500 to 750 rubles, and for drunk driving - from 30 thousand to 45 thousand rubles. Changes will also affect the order of payment of fines.
